Lydia Keise - insyte psychiatric

Lydia Keise, M.D.

Psychiatrist

Dr. Keise’s approach to mental health is founded upon the belief that the way to wellness is a path created by both the physician and the patient together, paired with a plan for successfully navigating the way.

Dr. Keise graduated in 2006 from Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and is professionally licensed within New Jersey. She has over 15 years of psychiatric experience and is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. Dr. Keise is one of the most accessible psychiatrists in the area, offering patients warmth and extraordinary support as they work together in the interest of the patient’s health.

Ruth Yamoah-Cofie, PMHNP-BC

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Ruth Yamoah-Cofie started her nursing journey 30 years ago. She obtained her BSN at SUNY Binghamton and MSN at Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2019. The latter part of Ruth’s career has been spent practicing as a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in New Jersey and New York. She has worked with various clients across her lifespan. In your journey to attaining mental wellness, Ruth is looking forward to working with you in a collaborative partnership with the ultimate goal of helping you attain a balanced biopsychosocial state.

Kimberly McCullough, PA-C, MBS

Kimberly McCullough, PA-C, MBS, graduated from Monmouth University Graduate School with her Master’s degree in Physician Assistant in 2022. She is a board certified Physician Assistant. She also graduated from Rutgers University in 2018 with her Master’s degree in Biomedical Science, Her academic career began with her Bachelor’s of Biology in 2014 at Nova Southeastern University. Kimberly has had a long and fascinating academic journey.

Kimberly has gained experience in psychiatry throughout her training as a Physician Assistant. She has had a passion for mental health since beginning her medical academic career.

She is very excited to partake in the care of patients. She is driven to help guide you on your mental health journey, partaking in patient-centered delivery of mental healthcare, in a warm and comfortable environment, in collaboration with Dr. Keise. She is ready to lend a close listening ear and expansive support in order to help build, expand, and sustain a better mental health journey for her patients.

She believes mental health awareness is key.

Mark Sedlak APN, PMHNP-BC

Mark is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner who takes a patient-centered, integrative, holistic approach for treating a variety of mental health disorders. He provides care to patients 13 and older and is extremely passionate about the preservation of mental well-being. Treatment is provided through the use of medications, therapy, dietary modifications, and supplements to achieve optimal mental health.
 
Mark provides treatment for a variety of mental health disorders including: depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, addiction/substance use disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, sleep disorders, PTSD, and more. He has specialized in substance abuse treatment for the past 2 years and offers Medication-Assisted Treatments (MAT) including buprenorphine (Suboxone), naltrexone/vivitrol, and other medications to treat opioid use disorder, alcohol use disorder, and other substance use disorders.
Glen Wagner - insyte psychiatric

Glen Wagner, LCSW

Glen is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 24 years of social work experience. Glen obtained a Master’s degree from Temple University and has worked in numerous behavioral health settings.

Glen’s experience ranges from working at numerous outpatient settings as a Supervisor as well as, working as a Clinical manager overseeing two behavioral health inpatients at Robert Wood Johnson in Somerset. Glen is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) and is a second year candidate at the Center for psychotherapy and psychoanalysis.

Glen’s speciality is working with clients with anxiety, depression and trauma. Glen believes in continuing his education and clinical skills and is always learning the most effective therapies to help his patients meet their goals in a quick and effective way.

Katherine McCooe - insyte psychiatric

Katherine McCooe, MS, LPC, LCADC

Katherine is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. She is bilingual and speaks English and Spanish. Katherine received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Rider University and went on to earn her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Monmouth University. Katherine has experience working as a therapist in various levels of care in the mental health field such as inpatient, detox, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, and outpatient programs.

Katherine specializes in women’s issues, acculturation stress, life transitions, substance abuse, depression, and anxiety. She uses a person-centered therapy approach along with evidence-based treatment modalities from CBT and DBT. Katherine’s work has a strong emphasis on mindfulness and self-compassion. 

People start to heal the moment they feel heard. Katherine strives to provide a comforting and safe environment for healing and transformation to take place.  

Charles Johnson - insyte psychiatric

Charles Johnson, LCSW

Treating people with dignity and respect are values that Charles Johnson was raised with and that has become a significant part of his foundation as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing behavioral health services for over 24 years.

Charles achieved his undergraduate degree in Human Development from Arizona State University, his Master’s degree from Rutgers University, and post-Master’s training in Family Systems Therapy. Charles specialties are in work with families, couples, men, and groups. With medical social work experience, Charles assists persons/families in navigating major health challenges, separation/loss, and grief issues. He has been successful in engaging and empowering people from diverse backgrounds.

Melirah Searcy, LAC

Melirah graduated from Rowan University with a Bachelors in Psychology and a Masters Degree in clinics and counseling psychology from William Patterson. She believes that no one format or method fits all and uses a combination of approaches and tools in partnership with the individual to help them reach their maximum potential. Melirah has worked with diverse populations ranging in age, gender, culture and background
Melirah has experience in intensive outpatient, community mental health, and residential intensive support team settings. Majority of her work has been done with individuals with serious and persistent mental illness including major depression, bipolar disorder, and schizophrenia. Melirah also has training and post-graduate education in substance use treatment and counseling. She has a passion for working with young adults, women, and the substance use community.

Athena Lin, BA , Medical Administrative Assistant

Athena is a friendly administrative assistant, who received her Finance degree from The College of Charleston. She is bilingual, and speaks English and Chinese. Athena is passionate about her job, and takes pride in ensuring that all the clients at Insyte Psychiatric are satisfied.
